bio

I am a seasoned creative consultant, copywriter and branding specialist with expertise in fashion, food & wine, and luxury. After a long career as a national magazine editor and New York-based journalist, I transitioned into advertising/marketing, and branding content. I tell brand stories through inspired content writing and enhanced product copy. I work remotely from my Long Island studio but my availability, reliability, and speed keep clients happy. I confess I am not a designer, so forgive my primitive web skills.

BACKGROUND

My editorial features on wine, food, travel, watches, and men’s fashion have appeared in The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Esquire, GQ, Newsday, BusinessWeek, Departures, Robb Report, Cigar Aficionado, and a host of other magazines As a former Men’s Style Editor at the New York Times Magazine, Special Project Director at The New Yorker, and Fashion News Editor at Gentlemen’s Quarterly, I became one of the preeminent voices in luxury journalism.

I just wrapped up a major project for Podium Sportswear LLC and the company’s newly launched brand, STOCK Collection. More recently, I was a creative consultant and content strategist for Robert Graham Ltd., Ghurka, Battalure Beauty LLC., Toth + Co., Loro Piana, and Briggs & Riley Travelware. Past clients include Giorgio Armani, Polo.com., Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Brioni, Allen Brothers Steaks, Fannie May confectioners, Details, and Departures magazines.
